Glenn Harold Bowman passed away on Fri. Oct. 7,2011 at his home in Marion surrounded by his family and friends.
He was the partiarch of an extended family, all of whom will miss him keenly, Surviving family members include Mille Eakins Bowman his wife of nearly 17 years, sister Esther daughter, Judy Bowman Porter and Betty Bowman Showalter and Terry Porter.
In death joins Mary Jane Cammack Bowman, his wife of 55 years and older brothers Clifford and Robert Bowman.
Born in Fairmount, In. the third of four children to David and Maude Bowman.
Harold was known to many as an accomplished musician who played the tuba for more that 85 years, most recently as a founding memeber of the Mississinewa Valley Band.
He will be especially remembered as a man of many talents; gardener, fisherman, laborer, Sunday school teacher, craftsman, musician, humorist, and storyteller.
